![]() ![]() I just wish I could use my same controller for PC. I love RetroArch for the cross platform so I can keep my games and settings sycned across devices. I have also tried using an old PS4 controller, and I have issues with the L Trigger on that triggering multiple different button inputs. So, it seems there is an issue with Retroarch with this controller. Using the same controller, I mapped my buttons to the same binds as I have in retroarch, and everything works perfectly. To test further, I downloaded a standalone version of Mupen64plus (mp64). ![]() I dont have any 3rd party mapping programs, and Steam does not have any issues (I have the PID killed anyway, and i still have the odd C-Button issue. Im not able to find anything that would be conflicting with the mappings. If anyone has ANY idea on if this issue is fixable, I would really appreciate it. But I dont like how the stick feels on it, and would rather just use my steel series. I bought a N64 USB controller off Amazon that works fine. The only thing I can think of is the core difference, but I cannot find completely identical N64 cores between the 2 platforms. I am using the Mupen64Plus-Next GLES3 on Android and Mupen64Plux-Next on Windows. My controller layout is IDENTICAL for android and Windows, both the RetroArch default mapping and the core mapping. This keeps the layout as close to possible as the N64 diagonal button design. Pressing the Steelseries "B Button" fires the N64 A button mapping.īut I really want it to have my N64 B and A mappings to be on the Steelseries X and A mappings, respectively. I have messed with other mappings for the N64 A button (mapped to the controllers B button) and it works in that location. It has the A button (c3) label, and when I try to map it to the "Bottom button" on the controller (A button on the steelseries or Xbox, would be the X location on a PS4), when it is pressed, it always executes presses for BOTH A and C-Down. The "A" Button mapping will not work properly. My issue is with Windows N64 controller mapping. It works perfectly for all consoles on Android, even N64 (c Buttons mapped to the right stick). I have a Steelseries Stratus Duo as my main controller. I have setup Syncthing to keep saves/roms/assets/ and some other options in sync between the both platforms. I am currently running RetroArch on Android and Windows 10 (both on 1.9.8). I have read and googled for literally days trying to find out how to get this to work - Not sure if it ever will - But here goes. ![]()
